Wills, Trusts and Estate Planning
One of the fundamental aspects of any financial planning is to ensure you have a valid will in place.
We encourage all our clients to fulfil this basic step. Whether you have a large or small estate the complications and costs involved when someone dies without one are immeasurable.
In addition to a will we advise all clients to set up lasting Powers of Attorney at whatever stage of their life. These enable those who you have nominated, to manage your finances and or health in the event you are unable due to temporary Illness or longer term disabilities. This can avoid the need for the court of protection becoming involved, saving months or even years awaiting court decisions, let alone the cost savings made from court fees.
For more complicated estates we will advise on trust planning to mitigate potential inheritance liabilities or for protection of minors. We calculate your liabilities and help create a flexible plan using trusts and also other Investment vehicles to mitigate these liabilities.
As part of our service we work closely with relevant will & trust specialists whom we can introduce in order to tailor a plan to meet your needs.
