Discretionary Fund Managers (DFM’s)
As part of our Investment philosophy we can utilise the services of Discretionary Fund Managers (DFMs). We have chosen to use DFMs to complement other Investment options in order to give clients the greatest choice and diversification.
Where fund size makes it an appropriate recommendation, DFMs act on a discretionary basis and in conjunction with Pennymatters a bespoke portfolio is constructed to achieve the client’s own specific goals whether that be growth, income or a mixture of both.
For smaller funds we also use Model Portfolios run by DFMs.
The DFMs we use offer a wide range of Investments that are often only available to the larger institutions, however as a private client they are able to access these types of investments for us and at preferential rates.
The DFMs have no ties to any fund managers, banks or financial institutions and are free to search across a wide range of the marketplace to find the right solutions for our clients. Their advice is based on insight from top-class in-house research teams and guided by their clear and consistent investment process.
